Ticor Title opened its doors in Portland in 1908. Ticor issued Oregon's first Title Insurance Policy. The 4th and Stark building was home to Ticor until 1993.
In 1991 our Commercial Division relocated, and became one of the first tenants in the newly completed Broadway Building.
In 1993 our title plant moved to its current location on 16th and Salmon Street. Nine other Ticor Title branches in the Portland area support our operations. Our title plant holds some of the oldest records in the state, dating back to the mid 1800's. Ticor's information is a useful resource for organizations like the Historical Society of Oregon.
